ASU Alert (E2Campus) Notification System

The ASU Alert system will text your cell phone or email you with timely information about emergencies, weather alerts, class cancellations, etc. once you sign up for the service. Please note that depending on your personal cell phone plan, there may be a nominal fee from your carrier to receive text messages, but there is no charge from ASU to use the ASU Alert service.

The ASU Alert system offers an email option, as well, in the event you don't have a cell phone. The ASU Alert system is available to all current on-campus students, faculty, and staff. The service allows you to enter up to two cell phone numbers into your account, so students may want to include a parent's phone number to keep them advised.

There are two ways to sign up:

  1. Go to the "Alert System" webpage. You can log in with your ASU username and password and you'll be taken to the Alert sign-up page. Complete the information requested and be sure to include the area code when entering your phone number. You will need to have your cell phone with you at the time of signup as you will receive a verification code that will have to entered to complete the process. The whole process takes less than five minutes.
  2. From your cell phone, text "79516" and put "adamsalert" (lowercase with no spaces) in the subject/text box.You will receive a text back telling you to text "Yes" to complete the sign up. At the end of the academic year (May) current subscriptions will be removed and you will be required to re-enroll at the beginning of the academic year (August).
