Writing for the Web - Using Lists

Embrace "Bulletization"

  • You have mere seconds to make scanners take notice before they leave your page

  • So break your content into scannable chunks

  • Bulleted lists are a great way to do this

  • But don't go crazy! More than 5 items in a list will make scanners eyes' blur

  • That would be almost as bad as (gasp) a paragraph!
