Dr. Frank Novotny
Dr. Frank Novotny returned to the Associate Provost Office the summer 2007 semester after serving as Interim Provost for Academic Affairs since the fall 2005 semester. He served as Assistant Provost for Academic Affairs from 2004 to 2005. Dr. Novotny started in administration as the head of the Chemistry Department in 1998. He joined Adams State College in 1993 as Assistant Professor of Chemistry.
Dr. Novotny received his Ph.D. from South Dakota State University in analytical chemistry, he received his B.S. from St. Norbert College, in chemistry and biology.
In 1998 Dr. Novotny received the "Excellence in Science Teaching Award at the College Level" from the Colorado Association of Science Teachers. He has written many successful grants and was instrumental in developing the Adams State College Bachelor of Science in Nursing program.

Dodie Day
Dodie transferred to ASC in 2006 from the University of Northern Colorado where she held the position of Administrative Assistant III in the School of English Language and Literature. She brought with her 5 years of experience in higher education and many years of experience in, what she likes to call, the real world. She graduated from Canon City High School, Nashville State Area Vocational/Technical School, completed the Colorado Leading Edge Program and has taken numerous continuing education classes.
