Bachelor of Arts in Applied Business
- Students must complete a minimum of 120 credit hours which includes:
- 1. Complete the general studies requirements for the Bachelor of Arts degree.
- 2. Complete the following courses:
- Bus 120: Business Computer Applications I (3 credit hours)
- Bus 207: Introduction to Accounting I (3 credit hours)
- Bus 208: Introduction to Accounting II (3 credit hours)
- Bus 211: Business Law (3 credit hours)
- Bus 265: Business Communication (3 credit hours)
- Bus 304: Principles of Marketing (3 credit hours)
- Bus 318: Business Statistics (3 credit hours)
- Bus 361: Principles of Management (3 credit hours)
- Bus 363: Managerial Finance (3 credit hours)
- Bus 430: Production & Operations Management (3 credit hours)
- Bus 480: Business Policy (3 credit hours)
- Econ 255: Principles of Economics I (3 credit hours)
- Econ 256: Principles of Economics II (3 credit hours)

- This Curriculum mirrors the requirements of Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration, General Business Emphasis. All current ASC requirements in general education, writing and technology proficiency, 120 total credits and 42 upper-division credits remain in force. The significant difference between this emphasis and all other emphasis in both BA and BS in business Administration is the acceptance of up to 30 semester technical credits which will be applied in the elective area.
- Decision of acceptance of individual technical courses will be made by the student's advisor, subject to the approval of the department chair. Acceptance of technical credits applies to this emphasis with in this degree.
