Distance Degrees

  • Beginning in the Fall Semester 2000, Otero Junior College, Trinidad State Junior College, and Lamar Community College have connected with Adams State to offer a baccalaureate degree in two academic areas in high demand:
    • Elementary Education and Business Administration
    •
  • The program is called REAP (Rural Education Access Program) or 2+2. Under REAP you take your first two years of course work at your community college, then transfer to Adams State for the final two years as you can now.
  •
  • The difference is that you take your upper-division Adams State classes at the community college, too, without having to travel to the Adams State campus in Alamosa.
