RELEVANT EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
Spring Break trips explore various areas of geologic interest in the United States. Also, students may conduct independent research and participate in national and other professional organizations.
EARTH SCIENCE SOCIETY
Adams State University's location in southern Colorado's San Luis Valley provides easy access to "textbook" examples of geologic features such as Mesozoic-Cenozoic volcanics, Cenozoic sediments, glacial deposits and structure of the Sangre de Cristo and San Juan Mountains. Geology coursework takes advantage of this unique geologic setting.
