Evening & Weekend College
In order to better serve the San Luis Valley and surrounding areas, Adams State College now offers the evening and weekend programs. Adams State College is fortunate to be designated as a Regional Education Provider (REP). It is our hope that flexible scheduling and delivery of programs will provide more educational opportunities for you.
It has never been easier to earn your degree. The Evening & Weekend College is designed to meet your educational needs by providing courses around your everyday schedule:
- Evening and weekend college course offerings began in the fall 2004 semester. Students enrolled in a minimum of 12 credit hours per semester will be able to complete the Associate of Arts or Associate of Science (general) degree in 5 semesters.
- The newly begun RN-BSN program is included in the evening and weekend college.
- Through the evening and weekend college, students enrolled in the Bachelor of Arts/Interdisciplinary Studies degree take their first two years of course work at their local community college and then transfer to ASC to complete the bachelor's degree in five semesters. Students may also work toward an Associate of Arts degree with an Elementary Education or Early Childhood Education emphasis. For more information, please contact Julia Chavez.
