The Department of History, Government and Philosophy at Adams State University has created a 30 hour track for people seeking directed study in United States History.
This MA degree can lead to attaining "Highly Qualified" teaching status, admission to a Ph.D. program in history, or as an end in itself.
Program Highlights
- 30 credit hour degree with 9 on-line classes
- Students must travel to Alamosa to defend their Master’s Thesis at the conclusion of their MA program
- 18 hours offered each year – 2 classes each fall, spring, summer
