Mr. K. Wade Mortensen

Wade Mortensen is married to Lindy Mortensen who is the head volleyball coach at Adams State College. They have five children. Two girls and three boys of which four are college graduates. His youngest son graduated from high school Spring of 2011. Wade and Lindy have seven grandchildren with another on the way.

Wade played basketball at Adams State College for four years for Dr. Loren Lutz.

He has taught in the public school system and coached high school basketball for 34 years. He was the coach for all of his sons. His team won a state championship with two sons playing. His team also took a 3rd place in the state tournament when his other son played.

Wade's hobbies include going for rides with his wife, fishing, reading and hanging out with his family.
