Bachelors Degree in HPPE

To earn a Bachelors Degree in Human Performance and Physical Education (HPPE) you must:

  1. Complete the general studies requirements for the Bachelor of Arts Degree, and
  2. Complete of the following core courses plus one emphasis:

HPPE majors must complete the following 24 hours of core courses:

  • HPPE 100: Foundations of PE - 2 HOURS
  • HPPE 120: Concepts in Wellness - 2 HOURS
  • HPPE 247: First Aid, CPR, and AED Training - 2 HOURS
  • HPPE 329: Exercise Physiology - 3 HOURS
  • HPPE 340: Kinesiology - 3 HOURS
  • HPPE 341: Human Motor Development - 3 HOURS
  • HPPE 448: Adapted Physical Activity - 3 HOURS
  • HPPE 450: Senior Seminar in PE - 2 HOURS
  • BIOL 112: Human Anatomy - 4 HOURS
  • TOTAL: 24
