Who Should Audition

If you plan to major or minor in music at Adams State you are required to audition for admission to the music major. If you performed in high school or college ensembles and wish to participate in Music at Adams State, you are also encouraged to apply and audition.

Where to Audition

You are welcome to audition on the Adams State campus in the Department of Music on either the fall or spring Discover Day, or during a Music Student for a Day visit. Please call us in advance to set up an appointment for your audition

You may send a CD or DVD recording, or a private YouTube link, if you can't audition in person.

Music Student for a Day

The best way to find out if Adams State is right for you is to come and immerse yourself in our program for a day. Be a Music Student for a Day.
