Undergraduate Psychology Program

The Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in psychology functions as a pre-professional program for graduate study and as a vocational degree program in mental health, personnel work, education, business, and other occupations which require an individual to understand and interact with others. A minor in psychology is also available.

Through the psychology curriculum, we inspire students to: understand and get excited about basic psychological phenomena, read and think critically about psychology, plan and conduct research that explores various psychological questions, and gain practical and applied experiences that benefit students with a variety of career goals. We hope that your visit through our curriculum, facilities, and the introduction to the faculty will give you an impression of this experience. Department offices, laboratories, and most classrooms are located on the third floor of the ES Building.
