General Degree Information

Bachelor of Arts with emphasis in Criminology & Social Welfare

  • The bachelor's degree is conferred upon completion of a minimum of 120 semester hours of credit, not including physical education credit hours.
  • A cumulative scholastic average of 2.0 must be earned in all work attempted at Adams State College. All general education, major, minor, area of concentration, or teacher licensure requirements must be satisfied before a degree is awarded.
  • No 'D' grade may apply to a major or minor field.
  • A minor in Sociology (18 hours) is available through consultation with any Sociology faculty member.
