About this Program

BA Interdisciplinary Studies: Early Childhood Education, Non-Licensure


  • Is designed for students who have completed an AS, AA or AAS in Early Childhood Education
  • Is designed for students not interested in traditional teacher licensure
  • Requires one week intensives on the ASU campus each of the three summers
  • Holds site based and/or campus based weekend classes with no weeknight classes
  • Uses a hybrid model of on-line and face to face classes
  • Allows most students to complete their degree in 7-8 semesters, including summers
  • Is for those who want to serve in a preschool setting as teachers or leaders
