Colorado Department of Education (CDE) Background Check
- All students
must complete field experience and student teaching as part of meeting
program requirements for Colorado State licensure and must have a
background check completed before they begin their field experience.

- Print and
submit that web page along with your application if you show the requirement has been met.
- If you have not met the fingerprint requirement, please contact the ASU Teacher Education program staff at teachered@adams.edu or 1.800.662.3382 and a fingerprint card and information will be sent to you.
The fingerprint card, fingerprint processing fee, and information sheet must be submitted to:
