Students should take and pass the appropriate Praxis content area exam. Passing results need to be received by the Teacher Education Department before the 7th week of the spring or fall semester prior to student teaching.

If passing results are not received by this time, the student teaching placement may be jeopardized. The Colorado Department of Education does require a passing score prior to an initial teaching license being issued.

When registering for the Praxis content exam, designate Adams State University as a Recipient for your test score.
