Theatre - Secondary Education
The Theatre Program at Adams State College is known across the country as an outstanding program that prepares actors, directors, designers, and technicians for graduate schools and for the profession itself. The program is housed in one of the premier facilities in the region, a state of the art building that opened in 2001. This intensive program offers complete classroom instruction that allows students to engage in all areas of study. A rigorous production schedule, which includes many student directed productions, allows students to achieve a complete performance training throughout their college career. The program has won numerous awards at the Rocky Mountain Theatre Festival. One of the greatest selling points of the program is its small class size and personal attention that each student receives.
