New grant process
(06-25-2009)
Adams State Community Partnerships, with campus-wide input, has updated the ASC internal grant application, review, and approval system. According to Mary Hoffman, executive director of Community Partnerships, the new online system offers many resources to grant writers, such as lists of ASC grants that have been funded or recently submitted. Links to funding opportunities, writing tips, and other resources are also included
"It is important that everybody use this system, because it can help avoid funding conflicts," she said. "For example, if two ASC grants are submitted to the same agency, both grants could be rejected."
The system also expedites the internal review and approval process. The online "intent to apply" form will automatically send essential information to the necessary college personnel for their review and approval.
In addition, Hoffman is available to assist in researching funding sources and identifying community partners for a particular project. Go to the grants website for more information and to access the "intent to apply" form. Questions may be directed to Hoffman at ext. 7372.
