Residence Hall groundbreaking set for July 9

Campus and community members are invited to celebrate the groundbreaking of Adams State's first new student residence hall in over 40 years. The ceremony begins at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, July 9, in the Rex Stadium parking lot. Plans call for the building to be open for the fall 2010 semester.

Roughly 50 community members attended one of two information sessions last week to learn about ASC's imminent construction projects. President Svaldi will give the same presentation to City Council at its July 1 meeting, as well as to the City Planning Commission on July 22. The presentation details construction plans and schedule, proposed street closures, and long-term campus parking. The presentation will shortly be available on the Construction News site.
