Campus Construction Update
(03-18-2008)
- The Marvel House (president's residence): completion projected by the end of the semester
- Plachy Hall: Asbestos removal has taken place, demolition of the locker rooms, football coaching office began this week.
- Community Partnerships: (former Art Bldg.) Remodel for phase 1 is expected to be complete late April, early May.
- Student Union Building: East & West entrance doors will be replaced this Spring. Asbestos removal will take place the first week in April.
- Irrigation project: Phase 2 is ongoing, with the majority of the work on the ASC well located just west of Nielsen library.
The following projects are in the hands of architects & engineers:
- Central technology power supply and HVAC upgrade
- Program Plan for ES remodel
- Plachy storage units (the old handball courts)
- Stair replacement for Petteys and High Rise residence halls
- Stucco replacement for Rex
- Hazardous Material testing on all General Fund/Auxiliary Buildings
