Student & Program News (09-29-08)
- The English/Creative Writing Program has completed an articulation agreement with Arapaho Community College where students may earn a certificate and AA from the Writer's Workshop creative writing program. The director of the ACC program, Kathy Winograd, Colorado Book Award winning poet, will be presenting a reading and workshop in spring at ASC as part of the creative writing graduates' reading.
- The Haynie Media Center for student media, including the South Coloradan and KASF, is up and running in the SUB, and a grand opening dedication and celebration will be announced later this semester.
- Several students and one alumna recently volunteered to appear in a commercial for Adams State that will air in the Alamosa Ski Hi theatres beginning in November. The Office of Communications appreciates the efforts of the following: Ian Schmidt, Audra "D.B." DeBruyn, Justin Johnson, James Ivy, Brenda Chavez, LeNae Woodmansee, Dawnia Brownlow, Morgan Cerny, Jason Dowd, Jacque Archuleta, Travis Henninger, Roselyn Smith, Jesse Garner, Tylor Hagedorn, Drew Houston.
