Traffic study under way
Martin/Martin Consulting Engineers is conducting a traffic study of the area around Stadium Drive and First St. on behalf of Adams State College. The college engaged the firm to evaluate the potential impact of vacating a portion of Stadium Drive and redirecting campus and through traffic around the area.
The street closure is one proposal outlined in the college's ten-year Master Campus Plan, which projects transformation of the campus north of First St., where student life and recreation facilities are located.
