Lodging

The State of Colorado Lodging information can be found at:

The In-State Lodging Directory provides hotel options for official State of Colorado business travel within the state. STMP has also set-up chain-wide contracts with Inter-Continental Hotel Groups (Holiday Inn), Best Western, La Quinta Inns, and Prime Hospitality (AmeriSuites). Scroll down on the STMP Lodging site to see these additional listings. These agreements, however, are considered permissive, which allows a traveller to stay at other lodging establishments.

All lodging charges should be charged to your USBank Travel card, if possible. Itemized receipts are required and need to be submitted with your Travel Expense form. Additional charges for charitable contributions or donations for various causes will not be reimbursed.

The current Fiscal Rule concerning lodging reimbursements are as follows: 1) Employees authorized to travel shall be reimbursed the actual cost of reasonable accomodations; 2) Employees may be required to use approved or designated lodging facilities in certain areas to assist the state agency or institution of higher education in controlling travel costs; 3) reimbursement shall be limited to the cost of commercial lodging.
