Team Leader Duties
- Select an open project from Project Board next to One Stop, or by visiting the:
- Alternatively, create a project that fits your club, team, class, etc. and meets a community need.
- Confirm project with United Campus Ministry (UCM) in Student Life Center Rm. 119
- Upon confirming project, immediately contact agency representative to confirm and obtain more detailed information including directions to site.
- Recruit sufficient volunteers and maintain the:
- Have volunteers complete the:
- Arrange transportation for team. Drivers must have valid driver’s license & private insurance. Copy documents and bring on Plunge Day.
- Communicate all project information to volunteers. Volunteers must be adequately prepared and show up on time and appropriately dressed.
- Departure times vary. See project description, check project board or contact UCM for exact time.
- Plunge Day check-ins and departures will take place at entrance to new Mall Walkway.
- Carry all forms with you to the project site.
- Send frequent reminders to team members and lead them in performing their best on Plunge Day.
- Return to campus for pizza, live music and games!
