The ASC general education requirements are listed below. Courses may be completed with ASC or accepted in transfer. Please check with your advisor for confirmation of specific requirements or transferability from another college.

Curriculum Effective Fall 2007
Technology Proficiency: All A.A. candidates must demonstrate baseline technological proficiency prior to graduation. The requirement may be met by scoring 70% or higher on the ASC Technology Proficiency Examination, transferring an equivalent course for BUS 120- Business Computer Applications I or CSCI 100- Essentials of Information Technology, or completing either of these courses with a grade of C or better.
Writing Assessment: You must submit a portfolio of your writing by mid semester of the semester prior to graduation. Check with the Assistant Provost for Academic Affairs office for requirements.
