Adams State College Extended Studies Graduate Credit for the Fermilab ACTS course.
Adams State College is pleased to align graduate credit to your work in the Department of Energy's (DOE) Academies Creating Teacher Scientists (ACTS) program at Fermilab. This is an exciting opportunity for you to receive graduate credit for the work you have completed. The course is "Department of Energy Academies Creating Teacher Scientists: Summer I". It is designed to help you meet the objectives for the first summer of the Fermilab DOE ACTS program, which focus on the scientific research thread, but also include work from the teaching & learning and leadership threads. The cost for this 6 credit course is $270.00, $45.00 per credit hour.
Adams State College graduate credits may be used to re-certify professional licenses, transfer into advanced degree tracks as an elective and/or in some cases move up on your salary scale. Check with your local state department, IHE, and/or district for specific information.
