Luther Bean Museum Attendant

Assist with collections management activities in the areas of processing of newly acquired pieces, records, and monitors relocations of objects within the museum and data entry in to the museum's database (using MS Access). Conducts periodic audits of the museum's collection. Assist with the setup and breakdown for exhibits and events held in the museum. Updates and maintains museum displays and display cases. Provide guided tours of the museum for visitors and/or scheduled groups.

Records Office Extender/Office Assistant

The Records Office is looking for a work-study student with outstanding work ethic and the desire to learn new skills.  This student is responsible for assisting the Academic Records Coordinator with various office projects.  Responsible for assisting with the various Extender projects as assigned.  Student will learn how to scan, index and retrieve various documents.  Responsible for serving as backup with daily office duties such as processing and issuing of transcripts, answering phones and other general office duties including filing and working in the student vault. Student Business Services Relief Cashier with Business Cross Training

This is a customer service position.  This position supports the One Stop Cashier in daily functions as well as occasional work and cross training in the Business Office. One Stop duties include answering student questions and assisting students and parents regarding student accounts, accepting payments, printing transcripts, and undersanding financial aid.

Business Office duties may include answering phones, typing deposits, proof-reading, filing, sorting, processing mail, mailing checks for payment, answering questions and assisting students and parents regarding student accounts. Both positions assign other office duties.

This position is 15-20 hours per week during the semester and additional hours may be available in the summer.

Desired Qualities: The best candidate for this position is detail oriented, conscientious, dependable, energetic, self-motivated, and has customer service and basic computer skills. Cashiering experience is ideal. This is a great position for the right individual who desires to add to their work experience and sharpen business skills. We are seeking a business and/or accounting oriented student.
