Specific Scholarships
Institutional and Foundation Scholarships
The deadline for all Institutional and Foundation scholarships, including the Experience Colorado Scholarship and the First Generation Scholarship, is March 1st. When applying for multiple scholarships, please submit a separate form for each one. Some scholarships have additional requirements such as letters of recommendation or letters detailing your goals and community service background.
McDaniel Scholarships
The deadline for all McDaniel Scholarships is March 1st. All applications require a minimum of an application form and unofficial transcript.
Woodard Memorial Scholarship
The Woodard Memorial Scholarship is a highly competitive scholarship for students who are active in their communities and have a GPA of at least 2.5 on a 4-point scale. The deadline for this prestigious award is March 1st.
Phi Theta Kappa President's Scholarship
This prestigious award is given to up to five transferring members of PTK each year. Each must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 and an A.A. or A.S. degree. The student must enroll immediately following two-year college.
Porter Scholars in Science and Mathematics
The Porter Scholars in Science and Mathematics Scholarship is a highly competitive award for students who are majoring in science or mathematics. The deadline for this prestigious award is March 1st. Additional information on this award is available here.
Experience Colorado Scholarship
The Experience Colorado Scholarship is offered to all non-resident and international students who have a GPA of 2.5 or higher. Valued at $2100 each semester, it is renewed annually.
Provost's Academic Scholarship
New for 2009-10! The $1000 Provost's Academic Scholarship is awarded to all non-resident and international sophomores, juniors, and seniors who have at least a 3.2 GPA.
Upper Classmen Room Waivers
The Junior Room Waiver is valued at $1000 and is available through housing for all Juniors who live on campus.
The Senior Room Waiver applies $1400 to any Senior's on campus housing charges.

Graduate Scholarships
The Graduate School offers several scholarships, including the Graduate Incentive Grant, Graduate Good Neighbor ($200 per hour for on-campus non-resident students) and various departmental scholarships. Contact your department for more information.
External Scholarships
Many organizations offer scholarships. The Adams State College Scholarship Search includes several outside scholarships, but don't stop there! Ask around in your community- many corporations and civic organizations such as Masons and Elks offer scholarships. Visit your public library and Chamber of Commerce for other sources of funding for your college education.
