Student Health Insurance

To study in the United States, INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS are required to have medical insurance which meets USA Federal insurance requirements, 22 C.F.R. Section 62.14.

Students are responsible for medical expenses they incur. International students are required to have insurance to meet their medical needs as mentioned in the Federal insurance requirements above and show evidence of this insurance to the international student officer. Adams State University does not have medical facilities on campus. However, the hospital and medical clinics are adjacent to campus.

If you already have insurance, for example many students from Canada carry Canadian insurance, please provide proof and please make sure that the insurance meets USA Federal insurance requirements as mentioned above.
