"Hello my name is Howard Johnson. I am an international student currently at Adams State University. I like the university because of the small class sizes of no more than fifty students in the general education classes and no more than 20-25 students in the major specific classes, as well as the one on one interaction with the teachers. The location of the school provided me with the space and the resources to focus on school. It is also a great for outdoor activities."

"I arrived at Adams State University in the August of 08 ready to start the new semester as a graduate student in HPPE. My main reason for coming to ASU was to be a part of the cross country and track team. I completed my undergraduate degree at the University of Leeds in England in Sports Science and Physiology, so the HPPE graduate course was a great logical progression. So far I have really enjoyed my time at ASU. I love the small classes which mean you get a lot of interaction with your teacher. My course has been both fun and interesting and is very specific to what I want to do upon graduation. On the athletics side things couldn't have gone any better. We won our first men’s cross country national championship in November since 2003 and I was awarded All American honors. I set big PR's indoors and got to travel to new places like Seattle and Albuquerque. And as I write this I am looking forward to going to Houston this weekend for the indoor track and field national championships where we will be attempting to win our first ever men’s title."
