What computers are available for use?

Laptops
Laptops may be checked out at the circulation desk on the 1st floor for use within the library. Patrons must show a library card to check out a laptop. Patrons must be at least 18 years old to check out laptops.
Wireless Access
Wireless access is available on all three floors of the library. Adams State students and faculty use their regular Adams State username and password. Community members may get a username and password by speaking with any of the librarians. Community members will need to show either a driver's license (any state) or an Adams State library card.
Research Terminals
Three reference computers are available to search our catalog and research databases. Two are located on the 2nd floor and one on 3rd floor.
Overdrive
Adams State library patrons have access to e-books, audio books, and music which may be downloaded onto computers and MP3 players. Get more info There is a computer set aside just for these downloads. Ask at the reference desk (2nd floor).
Network Connects
Several internet connections are available for use with laptops. These are located on the 2nd floor. No username or password is required.

Joel J. Jensen Computer Lab
This lab is located on the 2nd floor. It has both a black-and-white and a color laser printer. The lab also has three scanners. This lab is supported with student fees.
Computer Classroom
This classroom is located on the 1st floor. Whenever it is not in use for teaching purposes, it is available as an open access lab. It contains 24 student computers and one instructor computer. It has a data projector, a Smart Board, and other teaching technologies. It also has a black-and-white laser printer. Call (719) 587-7126 to reserve this room for a class. This lab is supported with student fees.
