What is this?
This is a database showing the music recording holdings of the ASC Music Department. Additionally, a paper copy of this database is located at the ASC library reference desk (2nd floor).
How do I search for music?
This database is searchable by composer, composition, record label, year, or keyword.
Once you've accessed the database, you should see an icon in the shape of a magnifying glass in both the right-hand and left-hand sections of the screen. Clicking on the magnifying glass will take you to a search screen. Type in your search criteria and click again on the magnifying glass icon.
How are the items in the collection accessed?
ASC students and faculty may listen to this music by going to the Music Listening Lab in the Music Building (Room 106A). The recordings cannot be checked out but must be used in the Listening Lab.
