ASC Grizzly Daze begins April 20


The annual Adams State College Grizzly Daze includes a variety of entertaining events for students and community and is an opportunity to raise goods and cash for the Alamosa Food Bank. Super Fun Day begins at 2 p.m. Monday, April 20, on the ES lawn with inflatable rides and a psychic fair including handwriting analysis, tarot cards, and palm reading.

Starting at 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 21, in Plachy Gym is the Main Event with comedian Dana Eagle, hypnotist Sailesh, rated PG13/R, and a concert by Sleepwalk-A-Robot. The cost for the Main Event is free for AS&F, with a canned food donation, and $3 for community members; proceeds benefit the Alamosa Food Bank.

The fun continues Wednesday, April 22, starting at 3 p.m. on the Conour lawn with a campus scramble, come watch clubs compete for cash prizes; followed by bingo, $500 in prizes, at 7 p.m. in the Food Court, located in the Student Union Building, get an extra card to play when you bring either a nonperishable item or a dollar donation for the food bank.

Casino Night begins at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 23, in the Student Life Center. The event includes free food. Receive $10 (in casino cash) extra, up to $50, with each nonperishable item you bring.

The final event, henna tattoos, is from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Friday, April 24, in the Student Union Building Solarium.
