SLV Orchestra Concert is May 2 (04-22-09)
The San Luis Valley Orchestra will present its Spring Concert at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, May 2, in Leon Recital Hall on the Adams State College campus. Under the direction of Dr. William Lipke, the program will include popular selections from George Frederick Handel's "Water Music", Ravel's "Mother Goose Suite" and Georges Bizet's Carmen Suite.
The SLV Orchestra includes ASC faculty members, professional musicians, community members and ASC students. Admission is $5 adults/$1 children/Free to AS&F and Friends of Music. For more information call the Adams State College Music Department at 719-587-7621.
