ASC Community Partnerships hosts "District Art Exhibit"
Artwork began at the high school level and finished at the elementary level is the Adams State College Community Partnerships Community Gallery exhibit for the month of March. The "District Wide Art Exhibit" is a collaborative art show by Alamosa School District teachers including Roberta Martinez, Polston Elementary; Sue Patterson, Boyd Elementary; Jill Wasinger, Evans Elementary; Butch Jones, Ortega Middle School; John Dodds, Jim Relyea, and Isabelle Zaugg, Alamosa High School. These teachers organized an art project originating with high school students and finished by the Polston Elementary first graders, traveling between schools at each step.
The exhibit opens May 4 through May 21. The reception is scheduled from 4:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. Friday, May 14. Refreshments will be served.
