Leading from hearts and minds
What qualities do successful leaders draw from in creating the dramatically successful transformations of the lives of women and children, communities, and the environment we are witnessing globally today? How do they draw from evidence-based knowledge and scientific research along with intuition? What specifically inspires and sustains these wildly successful leaders? What qualities and visions have taken them to work in places such as Afghanistan and Ghana, and to be sought by the UN as keynote speakers? Nina Simons and Cynda Collins Arsenault will address these questions, and more, during the lecture "Moonrise" at noon Tuesday, April 26, in Porter Hall room 130. The event is free and open to the public.
