ASIST training available at Adams State
Adams State University will host an Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) for campus and community members on Thursday and Friday, September 11 and 12. ASIST provides participants with the basic skills and knowledge needed to intervene with a person at risk of suicide.
The training will take place from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. both days in the Student Union Building banquet rooms on the ASU Campus. The entire training must be attended for the participant to receive a certificate of completion. The cost of the training is $40 per person, which covers the cost of participant materials.
