Many ring bells promoting peace on Adams State campus

Pictured, Lara and Hana Ahmad, age 3, participated in "Ring the Bells of Peace" at noon Sunday, Dec. 21, in front of Adams State College Richardson Hall. Approximately 50 people attended the event which was organized by Masood Ahmad, director of Student Engagement and Success, (no relation to the musician) and Shirley Atencio, campus minister.

This international effort promoted peace during this holiday season that was initiated by singer Melissa Etheridge and Pakistani rock musician Salman Ahmad.
