ASC PD investigates Loft burglary

(02-09-2010)

Adams State College Police are investigating a reported burglary at the campus' Student Union Building that occurred late Sunday night/early Monday morning, according to ASCPD Chief Joel Shults.

Two large screen television monitors were removed from the 2nd floor recreation area known as the Loft. The two 67" Samsung flat screens are valued at over $2,200 each. Also taken were several other electronic devices. The missing items are uniquely identifiable.

"We have collected physical evidence, and we know that more than one person was involved in this crime. Conspiracies almost always fail, so I am confident that we will have a successful outcome in this investigation," Shults said.

Anyone with information that may assist police in the investigation is urged to call Crimestoppers at 589-4111. Calls to Crimestoppers may remain anonymous and may be eligible for a cash reward.
