Armed dinosaurs subject of next faculty lecture
The Adams State College Faculty Lecture Series continues with "Dinosaurs: Armed and Dangerous, Stegosaurs and Ankylosaurs", by Lyle Carbutt, adjunct professor of biology and earth science. The event begins at 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 7, in Porter Hall (the science building) room 130.
Armored dinosaurs are popularly known but science is still discovering many new things about them. This lecture will focus on the evolutionary relationships of Stegosaurs and Ankylosaurs, myths and misunderstandings, their lifestyles, and the new discoveries that help us understand them better.
All talks are free and the public is invited. Complimentary light refreshments will be offered. For further information on the series of lectures, contact Dr. Kristy Duran, assistant professor of biology, at 719-587-7767, or email@example.com.
