ASC bring Latin filmmaker to campus

The Adams State College Cross Cultural Center and the San Luis Valley Immigrant Resource Center is sponsoring the film, "No Turning Back," at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 30, in Carson Auditorium.

The Latin filmmaker, Jesus Nebot, made the film and is the main star, which is a portrayal of immigration in the US. According to the website, jesusnebot.com, the film, inspired on actual events, brings awareness to the importance of transcending our limited beliefs and judgments of one another in order to live peacefully and harmoniously in a world as diverse as ours.

The website also says, "Nebot, founder and CEO of Zokalo Entertainment and Love Empowerment Seminars, is an award winning filmmaker as well as a renowned inspirational speaker and transformational trainer who has lectured in over 30 American states and 10 additional countries around the world for educational, cultural, non-profit, business and civic organizations."

His mission is to inspire personal and social healing and transformation through his speaking engagements, training seminars and artistic endeavors, including writing, producing, directing and acting."
