ASC announces spring 2010 free faculty lecture series
The Adams State College Faculty Lecture Series for the spring 2010 semester includes unique speakers, addressing a variety of topics. The free lectures begin at 7 p.m. on Wednesdays in Porter Hall (the science building) room 130 throughout the semester.
The schedule includes Dr. Beth Bonnstetter, assistant professor of communication, "The Many Sides of Media Satire" on January 27; Lyle Carbutt, adjunct professor of earth science, "Colorado's Dinosaurs and Mesozoic History" February 17; Dr. Patricia Robbins, assistant professor of management, "Unlocking the Mysteries of Motivating Millennials" on March 3; Roger Eriksen, associate professor of art, "Beyond the Da Vinci Code" on March 24; Dr. Stephen Roberds, associate professor of government, "Sex, Money, and Deceit: Incumbent Scandals in US Congressional Elections" on April 7; and Dr. Sheryl Ludwig, assistant professor of teacher education, "Teaching as Community Activism" on April 21.
