"The Examined Life" art exhibit looking for artists
Artwork with a "examined life" theme will be accepted from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, August 26 and 27, in the Adams State College Community Partnerships Building, located on the corner of Main St. and Edgemont Blvd. Please include an artist statement when leaving the artwork. The non-juried show will accept 3-D or 2-D pieces; 2-D pieces must be matted or framed.
The "Examined Life" art exhibit is part of the Seventh Annual Adams State Autumn@Adams -- "Everyone Has A Story To Tell/Todos Tienen Una Historia Que Contar". Events will are scheduled from Sept. 13 through Sept. 18 and include author Laura Pritchett lectures and book signings.
The art exhibit will open September 6 and continues through September 30 in the ASC Community Partnerships Art Gallery, with an opening reception from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. Friday, Sept. 17.
Entry fee is $10 for up to three pieces, members of AS&F may submit one piece at no charge. Artwork will be screened for appropriateness and space limitations.
