ASC Community Partnerships hosts Free Home Energy Workshop (03-11-2009)
Take steps to save money, be energy responsible and efficient. Adams State College Community Partnerships, in partnership with Xcel Energy, is offering a free one-hour presentation on home energy efficiency. There will be back-to-back presentations, the first in Monte Vista, Colo., at 3 p.m. Thursday, March 12, at Johnny Be Good Cafe, located at 138 Adams St. The second presentation begins at 5 p.m. at the Adams State College Community Partnerships, corner of Main and Edgemont Streets, in Alamosa, Colo.
Learn more about energy efficiency for your home at these free workshops. It is an opportunity to be proactive about your home energy use and cost. Topics will include appliances, insulation, heating, water heaters, windows and lighting. Chris Dierker, Xcel Energy Market Manager and certified energy efficiency expert, will lead the presentations.
