ASC MBA Program continues success
The Adams State College School of Business continues to grow and develop new programs. Having launched the Master of Business Administration one year ago, the School of Business is adding an accelerated track for students to complete both a bachelor's and master's degree in five years.
The MBA program summer 2010 cohort summer residency started May 21 with 26 graduate students. A fall cohort will start August 30, and spaces are available. The MBA program has three emphases including leadership, health administration, and public administration. The on-campus residency lasts three days with the remainder of the two-year program online.
"We currently have over 75 graduate students and expect to increase to over 100 by next fall," said Liz Thomas, assistant professor of management and director of the program.
Starting in the fall, students will have an opportunity to complete an undergraduate degree in business administration and an MBA in five years. "It is an inexpensive and quick way to receive both degrees in five years," Thomas said.
