SLV Symphony Fall Classics Concert is December 8

The San Luis Valley Symphony will present its Fall Classics Concert at 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 8, in Leon Memorial Hall on the Adams State University campus. Under the direction of Dr. William Lipke, the program will feature popular selections including Johann Sebastian Bach's profound Brandenburg Concerto No. 5 in D Major with Dr. Tracy Doyle, flute, Joy Plesner, violin, and Lipke, harpsichord, Franz Schubert's dramatic “Unfinished” Symphony No. 8, Leopold Mozart's “Musical Sleigh Ride,” and Johann Strauss Jr.'s beloved “Blue Danube Waltzes.” The SLV Symphony is composed of former and current professional orchestra members, Adams State faculty members and students, and community members.
