ASC Community Partnerships hosts Art Biz Workshop
The Adams State College Community Partnerships workshop Art Biz: Your Art, your Business, your Future!, will be held from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. Sunday, Dec, 6 or Monday, Dec, 7 in the Adams State College Community Partnerships Building, located on the corner of Main and Edgemont Blvd in Alamosa, Colo.
The workshop is for artists and creative people who want to learn and explore a wide variety of business aspects related to art. Topics include pricing, realistic marketing strategies, sales, communication, business plans, and art-oriented cash flows.
Over 200 artists have taken ArtBiz workshops; attendees have said they found the workshop practical and inspiring. The workshop is an opportunity to share artwork with other artists while acquiring the skills needed to be successful in the art market. The instructor, Lee Nelson, has over 20 years of banking, finance, and marketing experience across the globe. He uses all those experiences to create an art-focused, interactive workshop for artists.
Participants can choose one of the two session times offered. The cost of the workshop is $90, including materials needed for the workshop. A fifty percent deposit, due by November 1, is required to reserve a space in the workshop. Email Dr. James Owens, at firstname.lastname@example.org, to register.
