Students and community attend Blue Book Forum
Dr. Roberds, associate political science professor, and his Voting and Elections Behavior class hosted the Blue Book Forum from 6pm-8pm Thursday, October 21, in Richardson Hall. The Voting and Elections Behavior students offered light refreshments and set up tables with information on the propositions and constitutional amendments voters will find on their ballots on voting day, November 2. Students, faculty, and community members attended.
Several San Luis Valley public officials were present at the forum to answer questions, including Alamosa City Manager Nathan Cherpeski, Costilla County Commissioner Crestina Martinez, Rio Grande County Administrator Suzanne Benton. Rio Grande County intern Mary Beth Miles assisted with the event and answered questions, too.
