Free samples of new food offerings drew students, faculty, and staff to the grand opening of the Student Union Building's refurbished food court at Adams State College, Sept. 3.

A large crowd of students, faculty and staff enjoyed the festivities at Sodexho's open house for the remodeled Food Court.

It was quite a party at the Food Court as students, faculty and staff enjoyed Sodexho's open house.

"I'm impressed," said senior Sheena Medina of the new look. She and fellow senior Crystal Gylling agreed the food is good and the changes a "great improvement."

The event featured menu selections from a new vendor, Jump Asian, which joins Pizza Hut and Grill 155 in the court. The college's food service, Sodexho, operates the food court and remodeled it in bistro style this summer. The area features new dining tables and booths, a big screen TV, wood-look flooring, and stone accents.

Ten flexi-dollars went to Xochitl Aguilera and several others at the open house.
