Adams State College green chile cook-off is September 12
What tingles your tongue, green chile or hot wings? The second annual Adams State College Autumn@Adams cook-off will have plenty of both from some of the best chefs here in the San Luis Valley. Cost is $10 for contestants and $3 for participants to sample the chile and wings and vote on their favorite. Prize money will be awarded to the top selections.
Tasting begins at 11 a.m. and continues until 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 12, on the front lawn of Richardson Hall and includes the SLV Cancer Relief Bean Bag Tournament, the annual fundraiser, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.; and the EARTH group bake sale.
